How much do you charge?

Flash 'n Thunder believes in providing you with a quality product for a reasonable price. Because no two events are the same, no two prices may be the same. Our quotes are based on the specific event and determined only after discussing terms with individual clients. If you are looking for price above quality, we would suggest looking in the yellow pages.

 

Do you provide a contract?

Yes.

 

How is payment arranged?

A nonrefundable down payment is required when signing the contract.  The remainder of the balance due is to be paid on the actual day before the appointed start time. Payment is accepted in cash or check made to Jeffrey Lelko.  Checks made to Flash 'n Thunder cannot be accepted.

 

Is there a charge for additional hours?

Yes. Flash 'n Thunder will charge the agreed hourly rate per half hour of entertainment if asked to continue playing after the appointed stop time.

 

How long do you take to set up? To take down?

Using the standard system, which consists of two speakers, one truss, and 10-12 light fixtures, Flash 'n Thunder allows two hours to setup and one hour to take down.

 

What do you wear?

To most informal events, the Flash 'n Thunder Event Staff will wear company polo shirts and black dress pants.  To most formal events  (proms, reverse raffles, weddings), the Event Staff will wear a white or black shirt, black dress pants, a black vest, and a black bow tie.

 

Do you do announcements?

Yes. Flash 'n Thunder will make announcements, as well as address the audience to announce slow dances, line dances, chicken dances...  Flash 'n Thunder will also Emcee as needed, depending on the nature of the event.  Flash 'n Thunder always provides professional wireless microphones for ease of use.

 

Are you open to requests?

Unless specifically told otherwise, yes.  We will take requests from hosts and guests.  The Flash 'n Thunder Event Staff will review all requests before playing them to ensure that they fit the event's atmosphere and are not objectionable to our audience.

 

Do you bring back up equipment?

Yes. Our system is designed so that the failure of one item will not bring down the show.  We have four levels of back up on the music alone, as  well as several levels of back up on the visual and support components. 

 

How do you choose the music for an event?

Flash 'n Thunder constructs an initial playlist for an event based on the age of our audience as well as the type of event.  We will modify our  playlists as the event progresses to fit the specific tastes of our audience.

 

Do you employ?

Flash 'n Thunder does not hire regularly, however, additional assistance may be needed on an occasional basis according to the event's needs. At this point we hire on a job-to-job basis.  Please contact us if interested.
